There was minimal spread of the fire. Concerns continue for rollout, snags and wind.

All roads have been re-opened and have unrestricted access.There will be a community meeting for residents of Oak Glen and the fire effected Residents of Yucaipa. 6:00 pm at the Yucaipa Community Center Gym, 34900 Oak Glen Rd., Yucaipa Ca. 92399.

One home has been damaged. Thousands of structures threatened in the area.

Mandatory Evacuations are in effect for the community of Oak Glen. Oak Glen Road from Chagall Road to Wildwood Canyon Road is closed. An evacuation center has been opened at the Yucaipa Community Center, 34900 Oak Glen Road. Large animals can be taken to the Yucaipa Equestrian Center 13273 California Road.

The nearby Pendleton Fire started at 3:30 pm on August 31st near the intersection of Pendleton and Date Streets in Yucaipa. It is currently at 640 acres, 40% contained, and burning E towards Wildwood Canyon Park.
