Forest and recreation area closures remain in affect. Initial concerns for this fire include difficult terrain impeding suppression efforts on private, state and National Forest lands and it’s proximity to local recreational areas. Additional areas of focus include potential fire activity in proximity to large stands of beetle kill timber as well as the high fire danger due to the sustained warm temperatures and low humidity.

RED FLAG WARNING. FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH TUESDAY EVENING FOR ABUNDANT LIGHTNING.
